Kalleske Estate is a deeply rooted, family-owned winery in the North‑West Barossa Valley at Greenock, tracing six generations of farming on the same land since 1853. As one of the region’s leading estates, Kalleske stands out for its certified organic and biodynamic vineyards—the oldest such operation in the Barossa since 1998—covering around 120 acres planted with Shiraz, Grenache, and a diversity of other varieties, many from low-yield, dry-grown vines with an average age of about 50 years.
Their winemaking philosophy is defined by minimal intervention: using open-top ferments, wild yeasts, basket pressing, and native gravity protocols to let the vineyard’s true character shine through.
