Kies Estate

Kies Estate is a proudly family-owned and operated winery located in Lyndoch, at the southern end of South Australia’s Barossa Valley. With a legacy stretching back to the 1860s, the Kies family has farmed the same land for generations, officially launching their wine label and charming cellar door in 1985.

Set in a beautifully restored 1880s cottage, Kies Estate is known for producing a wide range of single-vineyard wines—crafted exclusively from estate-grown fruit—including bold Shiraz, rich Cabernet, crisp Riesling, and unique varietals like Bastardo. Sixth-generation winemaker Bronson Kies leads the winery’s commitment to small-batch, quality-focused winemaking, with minimal intervention and a deep respect for the land.
